While the country was enthralled with the Healthcare Frankenstein disaster created by Paul Ryan, the Senate voted to allow your privacy to be invaded.

In a 50-48 party line vote on Thursday, Senate Republicans voted to halt the FCC rules enacted by Obama.  Now Internet Service Providers will be able to sell your browsing history to the highest bidder.

This should be no surprise though.  Republicans don’t represent the people of their districts, they represent the corporations that fund their campaigns.  So, the higher-ups at Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, etc. are sleeping pretty nicely tonight.

Now, instead of just the NSA and CIA spying on you, Time-Warner and Sprint will be collecting data too!  Thank you Senate Republicans for putting corporate interests before the American public.
